Conceptual Site Models

The use of Conceptual Site Models (CSM) to assist in visualising the linkages and pathways of contamination and risk to site users is essential in understanding the contaminated land process.  The recently published new national guidelines, NEPM 2013, emphasises the use of CSM by contaminated land practitioners.

O2 practitioners have for years, been using CSM, Data Quality Objectives process (DQO) in developing Sampling and Analysis Quality Plans (SAQP) to fully characterise site contamination.

As we understand that a fully disclosed, discussed, and understood outcome for a project with a well-defined environmental problem using the DQO process will lead to a successful outcome for any project.
CSM form an integral part of understanding your contamination on site.
